Taylor Rebman hit a two-run triple in the sixth inning to tie it up, and Kendall Brown ended the game by scoring on a throwing error as East Valley won a close matchup with Clarkston 7-6 in District 7 2A playoffs. Chloe Chalfant went 3 for 4 for the Knights and had two doubles. For Clarkston, Megan Aliverti went 3 for 4 with a double. With the win, East Valley advances and will play the winner of tonight's Pullman and West Valley game Thursday at 4 p.m. at East Valley.

Katy Sinn launched a walk-off two-run home run in the fifth inning to seal East Valley's 13-3 win over Clarkston in the first of a doubleheader on Thursday. Down 3-1 in the fourth, East Valley rallied off 11 runs to aide the fifth inning conclusion. Freshman Chloe Chalfant went 2 for 3 at bat with two RBIs and a fourth-inning two-run home run and Kendall Brown went 3 for 3 with three doubles and three RBIs for East Valley.
