Cory Wagner sparked a big 1st quarter for Medical Lake, scoring 3 of his 6 eventual 3 pointers, on the way to 27 points as the Cardinals blew past Chewelah in the semi-final round of the Northeast A league district tournament. Donte brown added 10 assists and 8 rebounds for Medical Lake who will move on to face Lakeside as the #3 seed on Tuesday. Chewelah, paced by Chayse Frizzel's 13 points, will see their season come to an end.

Kyler Zorica tallied 19 points, and Newport beat host Chewelah 64-47 on Tuesday in the Northeast A League finale. Robert Owen added 12 points for the Grizzlies (13-7, 8-6 NEA), who secured the No. 4 seed to districts. Koa Pancho chipped in 10 points. Chayse Frizzel led the Cougars (5-15, 4-10) with 16 points. Chewelah will go into districts as the No. 6 seed.
