After losing to Cheney in the district semifinal the past 3 years, East Valley defeated them 3-1 to advance to the district championship in Pullman on Tuesday at 5. East Valley's three goals were scored by Devonte Gorman, Chase Binder and Matt Spitze, all in the first half, to lead East Valley to victory.

In a District 7 2A playoff game, visiting Cheney came out on top 1-0 in an overtime win. Camden Verstrate scored the winning goal for the Blackhawks in the 83rd minute. West Valley's season is now over. Cheney moves onto the next round in the playoffs and will play either Clarkston or East Valley at noon on Saturday.
