Carolyn Wendell and Destiny Scott hit RBI singles to spark a three-run seventh inning and Mead came back to beat Central Valley 3-1 in a Greater Spokane League district semifinal game on Monday. The Panthers will travel to University for the district championship on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Aubrey Williams singled to drive in Jordan Schneidmiller for the Bears in the third inning.

Maci Peha went 4-4 with two RBIs to lead Central Valley to a 16-6 win over Shadle Park to solidify their second-place league standing. Aubrey Williams finished 2-3 with four RBIs while Halee McCoy also went 2-3 with 2 RBIs for Central Valley.
