Rachel Utecht hit a three-run homer in the fifth and Richland held on to beat Central Valley 6-3 in a 4A regional elimination game at Columbia Playfield in Richland. Central Valley scored three runs in the third to take a 3-1 lead before Utecht's blast. Bears' starter Kelsey Gumm pitched all seven innings, scattering eight hits.

Alex Douglas scattered seven hits over six innings, giving up no runs after the first inning, and threw three strikeouts while giving up only one walk as University defeated Central Valley 11-1 in the District 8 4A championship game. Gracee Dwyer went 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI, Brooklynn Tacke went 2 for 2 with and run and two RBIs, Alex Surby had two runs and an RBI and Kirsten Anstrom had two runs and two RBIs.
