Ty George hit a two-run single in the fourth inning to help Timberlake get past Bonners Ferry 3-1 to win the 3A District 1 championship. Timberlake advances to the 3A state tournament, with the first game on May 14th at 3pm. Bonners Ferry will host Kellogg Thursday at 4pm in a loser-out game, with the winner advancing to a state play-in game at Grangeville.

Jesse Dunham pitched a no-hitter and went 2-4 at bat with four RBIs to lead Bonners Ferry past Priest River 10-0 in the semifinals Monday. Dunham struck out seven and walked two en route to not allowing a hit. With the win Bonners Ferry will host Timberlake, who dispatched Kellogg 10-0, in the 3A District Championship tomorrow at 4 p.m.
