Hailey Higashi scored a game-high 19 points and made two key free throws with 3 seconds remaining to lead St. George's to a come-from-behind 49-46 victory over Asotin in a 2B subregional game at Mt. Spokane on Monday night. St. George's moves on to face Dayton Friday night at Mead while the season ends for Asotin. Colfax used a quick start to crush Asotin 67-36. The Bulldogs lead 19-7 at the end of the first quarter and 40-17 at the end of the first half. Clutch performances from Nicole Sheer and Amara Huber helped propel Colfax. Sheer had a team-high 21 points, while Huber had the most three-pointers with three and scored 20 points. Brielle Whittaker led Asotin with ten points.
