Freshman Koby Blunt allowed two runs through seven innings and had two hits and two RBIs to lead Asotin past Kittitas 4-2 in a State 2B first-round game at University High School in Spokane. The Panthers scored all four of their runs in the first three innings. Kittitas was eliminated.

Danny Robinson had an RBI double in the seventh and scored the winning run later in the inning on a past ball and Colfax held on to beat Asotin 6-5 in a State 2B second-round game at University High School in Spokane. Asotin scored three runs in the fifth to take a 5-4 lead before Robinson sparked the seventh-inning rally. Robinson started and went the distance for the Bulldogs. He gave up five runs on nine hits and withstood five Colfax errors. Colfax will play Toledo in the semifinal…
