Mead got out of the gate slowly and couldn't quite catch up as they fell to Archbishop Mitty 61-47 in the Fitzgerald Tournament. Poor shooting doomed the Panthers, as they only managed 33% from the field. Max Hess was Mead's top scorer with nine points.

Archbishop Mitty dominated Lewis and Clark from start to finish in a 76-39 victory. The Monarchs had four players score in double figures. One bright spot for the Tigers was the play of Connor Hojnacki, who led all players with 14 points.
