Summary

What happened: Brady Wulf scored 14 points and the fourth-seeded Bears (22-5) beat the top-seeded Chinooks (21-2) in a State 2B semifinals at the Spokane Arena on Friday. Jackson Esary led Kalama with 25 points. Wulf drained two free throws with 15 seconds left, forcing Kalama into needing a 3 to send it to overtime. Esary shot was off the mark, sending Brewster to the 2B finals. Tyson Schertenleib and Adaih Najera scored 13 apiece for the Bears. Brewster will play No. 2 Liberty in the 2B state championship on Saturday.
