What happened: Trinity Richardson went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, Chloe Flerchinger threw a complete game, allowing seven hits and two runs, and the Highlanders eliminated the Wildcats in the District 8 3A softball tournament on Wednesday. Richardson hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning that sent the game to extra innings and had a two-run, two-out single in the eighth.
