What happened: Brock Sween threw a complete game, allowing one run on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts and the visiting Timberwolves (9-12) eliminated the top-seeded Vikings (20-3) on Thursday in the 5A District 1-2 tournament. Lake City plays Capital in a state play-in game in Lewiston on Saturday. Marcus Manzardo, Payton Childers, Bridger Rinaldi and Riley Smith each had two hits, an RBI and a run for the Timberwolves.
