Brock Ravet scored 40 points and the top-seeded Coyotes (29-1) defeated the fourth-seeded Bears (22-6) in the semifinals of the 2B state tournament on Friday in the Spokane Arena. Conner Ashworth led Brewster with 23 points and 15 rebounds, including five on the offensive end. Ravet added seven rebounds and five assists. Kittitas forced Brewster into 12 turnovers and turned those into 17 points. The Coyotes advance to play second-seeded St. George's in the 2B championship on Saturday at 9 p.m. Brewster play seventh-seeded Life Christian Academy in the third/fifth place game on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. in the Arena.
