Krista Den Hoed scored 10 points and the sixth-seeded Knights (22-6) eliminated the 15th-seeded Rangers (16-12) on Friday in a 1B state tournament consolation game in the Spokane Arena. Jenna Couch and Madison Chantry led Selkirk with six points apiece. It was a rough shooting day for both teams as Sunnyside Christian shot 25 percent from the floor and Selkirk only made 15 percent of its shots. The Rangers took 33 3-point shots, but only drained four of them. The Knights outrebounded the Rangers 49-38 and Abby Bravo led the Knights with 10 boards. Sunnyside Christian advances to play fourth-seeded Mount Vernon Christian on Saturday at 8 a.m. in the Spokane Arena.
