What happened: Nick Swenson allowed three runs on six hits and four walks with 10 strikeouts over six innings and the Cannons beat the Bandits on Monday in the first game of a doubleheader. The Cannons scored seven runs, including a two-RBI singles by Swenson and Kyle Peabody, with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take an 11-3 lead into the seventh. Peabody finished 2 for 4 with a double and two runs.
