Kyler Marsh scored 22 points and the top-seeded Knights (24-1) beat the second-seeded Tigers (23-3) on Thursday in the quarterfinals of 1B state tournament in the Spokane Arena. Ryan Moffet led Odessa with 19 points. Ross Faber added 17 points with a game-high eight rebounds for Sunnyside Christian. The Knights made an effort to slow down Moffet who dropped 48 points on Wednesday. The difference came from deep as the Knights shot 10-for-21 and the Tigers were only 4-for-12. Sunnyside Christian advances to play fifth-seeded Muckleshoot Tribal on Friday at 7:15 p.m. in the Spokane Arena. Odessa plays 11th-seeded Riverside Christian on Friday at 12:15 p.m. in the Arena.
