What happened: Ashlyn Wallace scored 34 points and the visiting Bantams (21-2) battled back from a fourth quarter hole and two overtime periods to edge the Knights (18-3) in the District 7 2A championship game on Wednesday. Down nine at the half and 11 after three, Clarkston tied the game in the final minute of regulation. AJ Sobotta added 14 points and Mickayla Jackson 12 for Clarkston. Faith Adams led East Valley with 21 points. Hannah Rowland and Brie Holecek chipped in with 15 apiece; Genesis Wilkinson added 13. Both teams face a crossover game on Saturday.
