Janszen Lucas tossed a one-hitter, striking out 11, and the visiting Spartans (1-17) eliminated the Wildcats (4-16) in a District 1 3A game on Wednesday. Konner Johnson had two hits and scored three runs for the Spartans. Cole Stevens and Caden Brennan had two hits and two runs apiece for the Spartans. Priest River will visit the loser of Thursday's game between Bonners Ferry and Timberlake on Friday at 4 p.m. in a loser-out game.
