Summary

Melissa Lee put on a shooting clinic for Napavine, going 11 for 14 from the floor for 25 points, 16 more than anyone else who stepped on the court.

To put it in more perspective, she made two more shots than the Mules and almost outscored their entire team.

Wahkiakum shot 9 for 44 from the field and turned the ball over 13 times. To say the team who finished second in the Central 2B league had a poor offensive night would be an understatement. There may actually have been a lid on the basket when they attempted a shot.

The Mules shot only 21 percent from the floor and only 14 percent in the second half, scoring only 10 points in the final two quarters.

Macie Elliot led Wahkiakum with nine points, but she had to take 13 shots to get there. She ended up making only 3 of her 13 attempts.

The Tigers leaned heavily on Lee as the rest of the team only scored 28 points and went 10 for 28 from the field.

Napavine advances to play second-seeded Davenport on Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Wahkiakum takes on ninth-seeded Life Christian Academy at 10:30 a.m.
