Summary

Jessie Thomas' hat trick Tuesday led Deer Park to a 3-1 victory over Cle Elum-Roslyn in the first round of the State 1A girls soccer tournament at Spokane Falls Community College. Thomas scored all of her goals in the second half, in the 42nd, 60th, and 67th minutes. With the win, Deer Park advances to the quarterfinals this weekend and will face Tuesday's winner between Cashmere and La Salle.
