Kate Budig led the Bullpups with 15 kills, but Walla Walla (14-5) defeated Gonzaga Prep (13-5) in four sets (25-20, 25-20, 12-25, 25-23) in a 4A District 8 third place match at Mead High School on Saturday. Gonzaga Prep is eliminated from state tournament contention and Walla Walla grabs the third and final seed. Emily Zink added 20 assists and five service aces for the Bullpups.
