Summary

What happened: Jesse Dupuis tossed a two-hit shutout and the top-seeded Wildcats (17-4) handled the Suns (6-13) in a 3A Greater Spokane League/Mid-Columbia Conference bi-district regional semifinal game.

Dupuis struck out 10 and allowed just a pair of singles over five innings. Hannah Bell sparked the offense with a triple, two doubles and three RBIs. Kyla Stern and Makenzie Funk added three hits apiece.

Mt. Spokane advances to face Shadle Park in the regional title game on Wednesday.

Southridge plays Kamiakin in a loser-out game on Wednesday. The winner thrn faces the MtS/SP loser for the second berth to a crossover game.
