Mason Wells threw a complete game for Mead, earning five strikeouts and only two earned runs, and helped his team to a 4-3 playoff victory over Central Valley. Brandon Hamilton brought in a home run for Central Valley, while Jeremy Yelland pitched six innings for the Bears, while also hitting a double.
