Summary

What happened:

Josh Grimes struck out seven and allowed two runs across six frames to lead visiting Gonzaga Prep to a 4-3 win over Shadle Park on Thursday. Ryan Gross hit a two-out triple in the top of the seventh and was knocked in by Bo McGinn to tie the game. Carsten Schmidt drove in Philip Reynolds for the go-ahead run and then was able to close out the game for the Bullpups. Connor Coballes led Shadle Park with two doubles on the day.
