Summary

What happened:

Kylie Pester and Taylor John allowed one run combined, scattered two hits and struck out 17 in Lewis and Clark's 2-1 win over visiting Gonzaga Prep on Thursday. In a classic pitching duel Rachel Valdez tallied 13 strikeouts and allowed only two runs in her complete game performance. Kylie Pester also clubbed three hits, two of which were doubles, and she drove in the tying run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Shea Coston followed with heroics of her own and drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
