Summary

Jared McDaniel hit a walk-off single in the eighth inning and Lakeland beat West Valley 11-10 in a nonleague game on Thursday.

Joseph Strietzel scored the game-winning run and collected the win after being called in as a reliever during the sixth inning.

West Valley was up by nine runs after three innings, but Lakeland came back to force extra innings. Max Baker hit a leadoff home run in the seventh as he sparked the completion of Lakeland's comeback.
