Summary

What happened:

Trey Gettys scattered one hit over five innings while striking out 11 as Liberty (9-3) took the victory over St. George's (5-2) in game two of the doubleheader.

After giving up three in the top of the first inning, Liberty fought back to score two runs. Gettys shut the door from the second inning on, and Liberty continued their attack. Beau St. John smashed a home run in the third inning and finished with two RBIs. Kyle Degon also had a big day as he had four hits at the plate and drove in three runs.
