What happened:

Alex Watkins put on a show on both sides of the ball in game one as he led St. George's (4-2) to a victory over Liberty (8-3) on Tuesday in game one of a doubleheader. Watkins struck out nine on the mound through six innings and smashed three hits with three RBIs at the plate. Also helping pace the offense for the Dragons was Adit Arora who had two hits and knocked in three runs.
