Justin Solt threw six strong innings for the Highlanders, allowing only one run over that span, as Shadle Park (6-4, 6-2) edged North Central (4-5, 4-4) 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Shadle Park got off to an early lead in the first inning when Justin Solt scored Donovan Meadows on a sac fly. North Central tied the game in the third inning on an RBI single by Reece Mason which scored Kayle Bowers. Jacob and Solt dueled on the mound all the way until the sixth inning when Miguel Resendiz-Stowe knocked in Blake Wells for the go-ahead and game winning run on Shadle Park's lone hit of the game.
