Summary

What happened: In a tight game that was back and forth most of the way, Cheney had a challenge from the get-go as their top setter hurt her ankle and had to leave the game after four points in game one. Rylie Pease and K.D. Skillingstad both stepped up for the Blackhawks to fill in with Pease providing 12 assists. Eva Millian was a tough opponent for Cheney as she put up 15 assists and 21 digs. Libero, Amira Napoleon, was a key player for Clarkston in the loss as she had 15 digs and played all over the court.

Taylor Gould recorded 11 kills and Ally Jones was another key player as she lead with 14 digs for Cheney.
