Summary

Kindel Moe was 4 for 5 at the plate, including a home run, to lead the Central Valley Bears over the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups 22-18 in a Greater Spokane League matchup on Wednesday. The Bears entered the sixth inning trailing by one. They knocked in six runs to take the lead for good. Moe drove in five of Central Valley's 21 hits. Macie Reynolds notched three doubles and had two RBIs.

Gonzaga Prep put up 13 runs in the third and fourth innings, giving the Bullpups a four-run lead going into the fifth. Gonzaga Prep pitcher Gracie Kunneely gave put her team on top in the fourth with a grand slam before Central Valley answered with 11 runs in the fifth and sixth innings.

Central Valley plays Mt. Spokane Thursday. Gonzaga Prep will face North Central on Monday.
