Summary

Ryan Campbell's late goal sent Pullman on to state, as the Greyhounds beat visiting East Valley of Yakima 1-0 on Saturday in the 2A regional.

The game was scoreless until the 78th minute when Pullman struck on the counterattack. Matt Winchell played a pass to Won-Jun Kim, who found Campbell just outside the penalty area. Campbell turned and fired in from 22 yards away.

Will Pitzer made five saves for the Greyhounds, who have allowed one goal in their last nine matches.

Pullman will now host Quincy on Tuesday. The Greyhounds defeated the Jackrabbits last year in the first round of state play.
