Summary

Jaron Kirkley notched 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Mossyrock topped Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 55-48 on Friday at Spokane Arena to advance to the 2B championship.

The Vikings (20-7) twice led by as many as 11, but had to withstand a Broncos (19-11) rally in the second half. Jacob Saetre and Dallas Killian both hit a pair of 3-pointers as LRS went in front 41-37 early in the fourth quarter. Leovardo Munoz and Danny Nelson answered with 3s of their own for Mossyrock, and the Broncos went cold down the stretch, failing to convert a field goal in the game's final five minutes. Kirkley made all eight of his free throws in the quarter to finish off the game.

The Vikings will compete with Northwest Christian on Saturday for the title. LRS will play Brewster in a consolation game.
