Summary

Ryan Ricks totaled 27 points and 10 rebounds, and Northwest Christian shot their way past Brewster 73-58 Friday at Spokane Arena to reach the 2B championship.

The Crusaders (26-2) started the game at a blistering pace, as Ricks hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter, and David Olds capped the period with a deep 3 to put NWC up 25-7.

The Crusaders continued to have success inside and out, as they made nine triples on the game and Asher Cox battered the Bears (25-1) in the post. Cox finished with 21 points and nine boards, and NWC outrebounded Brewster 32-22. Olds netted 19 points.

Northwest Christian will play Mossyrock Saturday for the title. Brewster will match up with Lind-Ritzville/Sprague in a consolation game.

Timbo Taylor led the Bears with 16 points.
