Wyatt Roettger scored 21 points, and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague shrugged off a late surge from Life Christian to win 62-57 in a 1B quarterfinal at Spokane Arena on Thursday.

The Broncos (19-10) seemed to be in great position, leading 55-46 with under three minutes left. But the Eagles (23-3) put together an 8-0 run, including five points from Luke Lovelady. Lovelady could have tied the game when he scored and was fouled with 32 seconds remaining, but he missed the free throw. LRS then made their final six free-throw attempts to close it out.

LRS made ten 3-pointers on the night, including four from Jacob Saetre, while LCA made just one of 13 tries from deep.

Saetre finished with 16 points. Lovelady paced the Eagles with 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Reid Roelofs netted 14.
