Summary

Edgar Najera scored 18 points to lead five Bears in double-figure scoring, and Brewster crushed St. George's 89-45 Thursday in a 2B quarterfinal Thursday at Spokane Arena.

The Dragons (24-3) led 15-9 in the first quarter after a bucket from Colin Cremers, but the Bears (25-0) closed out the half on a 26-4 streak. The second half only got worse as Brewster poured it on. The Bears made 10 of 18 from 3-point range, shot 61% overall and committed just five turnovers.

Josh Hammons tacked on 16 points, Chance Williams and Isidro Najera bagged 13 each, and Timbo Taylor had 12 points and five assists.

Erik Farias was top scorer for St. George's with 14 points, and Cremers notched 10 points and six boards.
