Summary

Zoe Moser notched 23 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals, and Colton held off a stern challenge from Almira/Coulee-Hartline to pull away and win 68-46 in a 1B semifinal Thursday at Spokane Arena.

The Wildcats (23-1) led by double digits for most of the second half, but the Warriors (21-4) cut the lead to five early in the fourth after a three-point play by Berlyn Hunt and a trey from Brenna Oliver. Moser replied with four straight baskets, and the seven-time defending champions closed the game on a 19-2 run.

Meghan Devorak added 12 points and seven boards for Colton, while Dakota Patchen scored nine on three triples. The Wildcats forced 18 turnovers while only committing seven.

Oliver totaled 18 points to lead ACH. Gabi Isaak chipped in nine points and seven caroms.
