Summary

Jill Townsend finished with 19 points and nine rebounds, and defending champion Okanogan cruised past Adna 49-29 Thursday in a 2B quarterfinal at the Spokane Arena.

The Pirates (19-8) hung tough early and were down 16-15 late in the first half, but they were no match for Townsend's inside play. She notched 10 alone in the third period as the Bulldogs (25-0) methodically pulled away. Jordyn Boesel capped a dominant quarter with a 3-pointer to make it 40-21 and turn the game into a rout.

Boesel notched 14 points. Okanogan will now play Mabton Friday in the semifinals.

Devanie Kleemeyer paced Adna with 10 points. The Pirates will face Toutle Lake in the consolation round.
