Summary

Soila Zaragoza netted 21 points, and Mabton staged a spectacular comeback to sink Toutle Lake 54-45 in the 2B quarterfinals Thursday at Spokane Arena.

The Vikings (22-3) trailed 20-1 in the first quarter and didn't make a field goal until Cristina Espinoza's jumper with a minute left in the period. But Mabton stormed back and took the lead for the first time late in the third quarter.

Samantha Woodley kept the Ducks (23-3) in the game with 23 points and 17 rebounds, but Toutle Lake committed 24 turnovers and shot just 32% in the second half.

Britnee Guerrero chipped in 14 points and Desanay Guerrero added 11 points and seven rebounds.

Makayla Gardner contributed 13 points for the Ducks.
