Summary

Ryan Moss poured in 41 points, and Neah Bay surged past Taholah 72-63 in a 1B quarterfinal Thursday at Spokane Arena.

Moss made five 3-pointers and connected on all 10 of his free-throw attempts. He also collected eight rebounds.

The Red Devils (20-3) went on a 12-0 run starting late in the first quarter to seize a 23-12 lead. They were in front the rest of the way.

Zach Cain totaled 31 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for the Chitwins (15-10). He connected on seven triples. They drew to within 66-63 late, but Neah Bay made enough free throws to hold on for the win.

Kenrick Doherty chipped in 11 points and 14 boards for NB, which will now play Sunnyside Christian on Friday.

Terrance Jones added 14 points for Taholah, and Levi Jackson secured 11 rebounds.
