Summary

Peyton Souvenir notched 19 points, seven assists and five steals, and Wahkiakum got off to a blistering start to defeat Colfax 58-44 Thursday in a 2B quarterfinal at Spokane Arena.

The Mules (19-8) led 27-4 midway through the second quarter and the game was never in doubt. Wahkiakum shot 49% from the floor and held the Bulldogs to just 30% shooting.

Savannah Burdick chipped in 11 points and Macie Elliott netted 10 for the Mules.

Kateylyn Scholz paced the Bulldogs (18-9) with 11 points. Ashtyn Aune and Carmen Gfeller scored 10 each, and Taylor Garcia pulled down 10 rebounds.
