Summary

Alyse Jackson scored 21, including five 3s to lead Mead over University 52-48 on Saturday night.

Mead held a 12-point lead in the first half, credit to Jackson's 10 points in the second quarter. University slowly chipped away at the lead, as Kaitlin Pannell's nine third quarter points aided in coming back to draw even at 48 with 30 seconds to go.

Payton Douglass converted on a layup and a foul and hit the free throw to go ahead by three. University had two more chances to draw even, but came out scoreless on both. Aaliyah Pauling, who finished with nine points, hit a final free throw to seal it.

Pannell finished with 21 points and Brooke Bailey added 16 for University.
