Summary

Dakota Kroiss had four 3-pointers en route to 15 points and Gavin Parrott scored nine of his 12 points in the third quarter when host Chewelah pulled away from Deer Park for a 59-45 victory.

Chewelah led by two at halftime then outscored Deer Park 24-10 in the third quarter.

Chayse Frizzel added 13 points and had several blocks that the Cougars were able to turn into fast-break points. Six of Parrott's third-quarter points came on three-point plays and he turned in several steals.
