Summary

Shamrock Campbell netted 20 points, and Ferris overcame a slow start to defeat visiting Mead 51-40 Tuesday in Greater Spokane League play.

The Saxons faced a 16-3 deficit after the first quarter, but methodically worked their way back into the game. They cut the Panthers' lead to five by the half, and took the lead in the third quarter as Campbell drained a trio of three-pointers. Jace Van Lierop, who tallied 15 points, made eight of nine free throws and secured five steals as well.

Mike Ervin added nine points and eight rebounds for the Saxons (8-8, 7-7 GSL).

Kobie Hanson led Mead (9-8, 6-8) with 13 points.
