Summary

Jack Paukert hit a pair of game winning free throws with 1.1 seconds left in overtime and Freeman (12-3, 8-1) defeated Lakeside (11-4, 7-2) 82-80 to claim sole possession of first place in the Northeast A league.

Lakeside's Cameron Gay drilled a game-tying 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. The Eagles jumped out to a 25-12 by the end of the first quarter, but the Scotties chipped away at it throughout the second and third quarters until claiming the lead later in the fourth.

Ryan Maine led Freeman with 30 points. Nate Jacobus had 17 points, Paukert added 14 and Michael Coumont chipped in 12 for the Scotties.

Cameron Gay finished with 32 points and eight assists for the Eagles. Gunnar Swannack had 23 points and 13 rebounds.
