Summary

Stepping into the place of injured point guard Racheal Wynne, freshman Nicole Stensgar put up an impressively steady performance of 11 points (5-of-7 shooting) to help Cusick to a 60-45 win over Valley Christian on Saturday night.

Stensgar stood out in her first significant varsity minutes, spending most of the season thus far on JV. Wynne suffered a broken ankle in a runaway win over Odessa Harrington last night.

Jocelin Nenema had 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting and 11 rebounds and Renee Wynne added 14 points and nine rebounds for Cusick. Phoebe Trigsted led all scorers with 21 for Valley Christian.
