Summary

Haley Pemberton led all scored with 12 to lead Cheney to a narrow 45-41 victory over Pullman on Saturday. Pemberton was the only double-digit scorer. Cheney moves to 4-7 with the win, while Pullman drops to 4-7.

Peyton Stark had 10 points and 11 rebounds and Hailee Huff added 11 boards as well for Cheney, who dished out eight assists on their 13 baskets scored.

As they nursed a two point lead with two seconds left, Stark hit a pair at the line to seal the game. She also had two key defensive plays, one being a charge in one of the final possessions.
