Summary

Jacob Saetre scored the last four points, a part of his 22-point outing, leading Lind-Ritzville/Sprague past Warden 52-48 in the Northeast 2B playoffs on Saturday.

The Broncos advances from the 2B state regional and will play in the 2B State Tournament for the third time in the last four years.

After five straight points from J.R. Delgado, who finished with 22 points, Warden trailed by one with two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Saetre responded by hitting his fourth 3-pointer of the night and later seal the game by sinking the front end of a one-and-one. Warden finished the game going 1-of-4 from the free throw line in the last minute.

Saetre hit three 3s in the second quarter, where he scored nine of his 22 points and helped LRS go up as much as 12. Warden scored the last five points of the half to cut the lead to seven.

Dallas Killian amassed 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Broncos, who will find out their matchup tomorrow.
