Summary

Abby jones hit 12 of her 16 points in the 3rd quarter, as St. George's used a big second half to overcome Colfax 42-41 in the Northeast 2B Subregional tournament, Saturday night. After several lead changes in 4th quarter, Hailey Higashi was fouled with no time left and the score knotted at 41. She nailed the front end of the one and one, winning the game for St. George. Colfax will now move to the loser-out game vs. Tonasket, while St. George's will advance to the state play-in game vs. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague in Regional tournament, next weekend.
