Summary

Freeman outscored Lakeside 18-9 in the fourth quarter and closed out the game on a 25-11 run in a 52-47 win, claiming the District 7 1A title and earning the No. 1 berth to regionals.

Dylan Oja, who scored eight points on the night, drilled two 3-pointers in the last two minutes to seal the game for Freeman.

Ryan Maine had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Scotties, while Nate Jacobus chipped in 13. Cameron Gay scored 13 and Gunner Swannack added 10 to lead the Eagles.

Lakeside will play Medical Lake tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at West Valley High School in a loser-out game with a berth to regionals on the line. Freeman clinched its berth with the win tonight.
